RETAIL

"Dollars and Dates"

The key variables for a retail developer or an individual store are dollars and dates. As early as before the developer assembles the property, the cost to build the power center, the strip mall, or individual anchor store is critical to proceed. The developer must have confidence that the project can be built for what HBD's manager says.

Once the project is 'real', and HBD's people are on site, now the key question is opening date. Inventories must be delivered and installed, fixtures must be in place, and the staff is hired to begin working. The opening date is critical.

HBD's team has vast experience in retail construction. We can provide construction budgets to you so that rents can be determined. And once the project is underway, we will keep in constant communication with the developer and individual tenants to set the date and meet it.
