An Aggressive back to work policy
Even though we strive for zero incidents, accidents do some times occur. When that happens HBD aggressively seeks to find duties that fit the restrictions of the injured workers to get them back to work without, or with limited, lost time. HBD is only as strong as our employees. Therefore we answer their commitment to HBD by HBD’s commitment to keeping them at work.

Each and every employee is expected to cooperate with our achieving these goals.
Each employee is authorized and expected to stop work at any time when a work activity is being performed in an unsafe or improper manner. Our goals benefit both directly and indirectly each one of our lives. We must succeed and we will succeed.
We understand there is a financial cost to safety, but we believe this is offset not only by the savings in Workers' Compensation Insurance, but more importantly by attributing to positive employee morale. Accordingly, we must work together and we will achieve our safety goal.
We feel these programs keep us focused on SAFETY as a way of life, just like the focus we provide for production and quality.
